  1. How To Shop For A Decent High End Home Audio System? (hint: Don’t Buy Bose!)

    September 6, 2010, 6:03 am
Ask the average American consumer: What is the best brand home audio has to offer? And you will most likely get the answer: Bose. Every time I hear this I cringe. Bose has a marketing department that is second to none, although I am a little shocked that my word processors spell checker does not recognize the word Bose. It shows that Bose is not dominating the entire world quite yet. My practiced response to the Bose answer is that Bose spends more on marketing their products than anyone else...(read more)

What do i do ? is there another way to get rid of it How do i just jump into safe mode ? I JUST USED UNLOCKER YOU GUYS MENTION BUT RIGHT CLICKING ON THE ICE AGE FILE DOESN'T DISPLAY UNLOCK FEATURE, IT DOES COME UP ON ALL OTHERS.
  7. Speaker recommendations?

    August 23, 2010, 7:17 pm
Good afternoon, A few questions from someone that knows enough to know what they don't know... I am getting ready to purchase speakers, I have approximately a $2000-2500 budget. I am drawn to the Energy line, only from others recommendations, but if you have other suggestions I would listen. I am wired for a 7.1 system, and plenty of space behind my main seating area. My main question is, for the front speakers, do I need to go LCR? And if so, what would your recommendation be based on my budget for all speakers, including a sub. I would also like a sub recommendation to go along with the front speaker recs. I have a Denon AVR 3808-CI receiver, so I should be fine there. I appreciate your help, I am so naturally skeptical of advice from in-store salesman, as wherever I go, I tend to get different answers based on what they are trying to sell. Shocking, right? Look forward to reading some answers, thanks in advance. I don't know how I didn't put this in original post, but I am wanting to go in ceiling for surrounds and in wall for fronts.
